Adam got to visit Albert Lea for the first time while we were in Minnesota. There is so much for him to see and do there - he had a great time. Grandpa Casey had a great time showing him the sites of Albert Lea and showing him off all over town. Beware, this post has a lot of pictures, but I wanted to show you some of Adam's adventures.
Adam got to pet a chicken!
This experience ended when Adam grabbed a fist full of Mr. Rooster's feathers! Adam held on to those feathers for quite a while.
He got to meet Shelly - very exciting!
He was fascinated with her big eyes.
The lucky boy got to take a bath in Grandma's giant jacuzzi tub! He wasn't really a fan of the bubbles, so we turned them off, but he loved all the space he had to swim around.
We played out on the grass. This is his new thing, by the way - sticking out his tongue. Pretty funny.
We went for a little hike through Grandma and Grandpa's land. Here are Phil and Adam in the pine tree forest. I always love this place.
The ponds - the water was so low! Phil and his brother used to play here all the time. We saw lots of raccoon and deer tracks.
It rained while we were out for our walk, so Adam got a little bit wet and a little bit muddy. It was a good time.
Hangin' out on the deck with Grandma.
We had Peg and Casey's good friends the Ericksons and the Aspers over for dinner. It was great to see them. Sue brought Adam a present - a moose! Adam was instantly a fan of Mr. Moose and it was nice for him to have a new toy to play with in the car on the way home.
It was raining during our drive back to OH, so we couldn't really let Adam play in the wet grass. We had to get creative with activities for him to get his wiggles out. He got pretty good at driving the car.
