He's Been Busy...

He's been VERY busy...

using his new floaty...
swimming with the girls...
building towers...
and knocking down towers...

pulling himself up to standing...
having a cold :(
BUT, he still had some smiles to share - check out those teeth!
emptying out the washcloth basket...
getting to know the cat... (notice Pooser also enjoys the washcloth basket)
and growing his mohawk into a SWEET curl!

So, there's a bit of what we've been up to. This will also serve as his eight-month post, since we'll be in Minnesota and Wisconsin when he turns eight months old on July 26. Looking forward to seeing lots of family and friends on our trip.

1. He is weighing in at 19 and a half pounds these days! Over 28 inches long.
2. He says "dada" and "mama," but doesn't always use them correctly.
3. We are almost at four teeth - two on the bottom and almost two on top.
4. After this trip, Adam will have visited eight states in eight months! Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Kentucky, California, and Wisconsin. (I think Wisconsin only counts for half a state, though.)

Out to Lunch

Adam has tagged along to many restaurants, but this weekend, while Grandma and Grandpa Swenson were visiting, Adam put some of his new skills into action, and was an active participant in our lunch at Abuelo's on Sunday.

After perusing the menu with Daddy...
Adam made a fine selection, and enjoyed some Gerber Stars (sweet potato flavor)...
and washed them down with some water from his sippy cup.
Being the gentleman that he is, he even wiped his mouth off after he was finished.

Playmates

Adam and Pooser have been interacting a lot more in the past month or so.  Granted, when I say "interact," it's really more that Adam chases Pooser around and Pooser looks at us like "Well?  Aren't you going to do something about this?"  We're trying to teach Adam that you have to be gentle with Pooser, but I'm not sure he quite gets that.

Here are Pooser and Adam "playing together."  Isn't that sweet?
