Come On In!

Ok, Everyone! Here are some pics of the inside of the house! I was there on Saturday for the inspection, so that's when I took most of these photos. Please excuse the WHITE walls and "interesting" decor. We're very excited to make it our own and add some color!

Home. Here is the front, just to refresh your memory after the last post. Four bedroom (with an additional craft room in the basement), two full baths, two half baths.

Here is what you see when you walk in the front door. It is nice and bright and I love the color of the wood. If you go left upstairs, you find the master bedroom and what will be the guest room. If you go right, you will find Adam's room, Adam's bathroom, and the office. That door on the left downstairs is a coat closet. If you walk down the hall to the right, you will reach the family room, garage entrance, and basement steps.

To the left when you come in the door is the living room, which leads into the dining room.

Standing in the living room looking into the dining room and doorway to the kitchen. PS, that dining room light fixture is not long for this world.

Standing in the doorway to the kitchen, looking backwards from the dining room into the living room. Those look like french doors, but they are actually jumbo sized windows. Lots of light, which we love.

Kitchen. Lots of counter space, all appliances stay.

Another view of our kitchen (and our home inspector, Tom). The double doors on the left open to a big pantry.

Standing in the family room looking into the kitchen. There is an eat-in area there with a big bay window. The door next to that lovely dead plant leads out to the deck.

Standing in the eating area looking into the family room. Fireplace is wood-burning.

Kitchen leads to a little hallway. Family room is on your left. Door on the right is a half bath, door on the left is garage, door straight ahead (open) is the basement. If you round the corner to the right, you'll be back in the entry way.

Basement. There's a storage closet to your right that you can't see, and that area there on the right is laundry and utility. This space will be Adam's playroom. If you round the corner in the back of the basement, you find a half bath and a little room that will be my craft room - yay!

Master bedroom. Phil tells me that I'm overly excited about decorating that space up there above the dresser. How cute will that be, though?! That's our realtor, Olga, in the hallway - she is awesome! The door on the left is the walk-in closet, and the master bathroom is to your left (you can't see it).

I kind of felt bad about photographing these people's things, but here is the master closet.

Master closet, part II.

The deck out back.

There you go! Hope you enjoyed. We're so excited and can't wait to have visitors!

Congratulations- it's gorgeous! I must say the floorplan seems remarkably familiar, at least downstairs, as does the dining room light fixture :). You will enjoy that house so much!
