Baltimore Aquarium

Last weekend we took a family trip to Baltimore to visit the National Aquarium. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. For those interested, we felt the aquarium itself was a bit over-priced, but we saw some cool stuff and it was just the right amount of activity for the kids.

Before we went into the aquarium, we spent some time enjoying the weather and walking around the harbor. We saw some cool ships and lots of ducks in the water. I think the sun was in Adam's eyes in this photo - he was actually in a really good mood!

Both the kids loved the fish. Clara was fascinated and Adam had a great time counting the fish and finding fish of all different colors. He especially liked the sharks and dolphins.

After the aquarium, we sat outside and had a little snack at a restaurant on the water. Clara loves being in the backpack (she laughs so hard when she first goes in) but was more than happy to relax a little bit in the stroller.

Here's our girl - 13 months old.

Besides Daddy, Elmo is her main man. She loves that guy.

Adam recently went to his friend Cora's birthday party and he just had to try out all of his party favors - all at the same time. (He's also rockin' his UM YA YA)

Backyard Buddies

A few of the neighbor kids have taken quite an interest in Adam and Clara and it is so fun. We hit 80 a couple of times this week, so the water table made its season debut. It was Clara's first time so she was pumped - I think she also just loved being "in the club" with all the big kids. Should be a fun summer now that Adam is getting old enough to run around with these guys. They are so sweet and patient with him and he eats it up.
